Konsumen:

Obat anti-inflamasi nonsteroid (Nsaid) secara reversibel menghambat adhesi platelet dan agregasi dan dapat memperpanjang waktu perdarahan pada beberapa pasien. Dengan pengecualian dari aspirin, trombosit efek terlihat dengan sebagian besar Nsaid pada biasanya dosis yang dianjurkan umumnya sedikit dan durasi yang relatif singkat tapi akan lebih terasa pada pasien dengan mendasari kelainan hemostatik. Trombositopenia juga telah dilaporkan jarang selama penggunaan NSAID. Terapi dengan Nsaid harus diberikan hati-hati pada pasien dengan perdarahan aktif atau diatesis hemoragik, termasuk hemostatik dan/atau cacat koagulasi yang terkait dengan hemofilia, kekurangan vitamin K, hypoprothrombinemia, trombositopenia, thrombocytopathy, atau gangguan hati berat. Nsaid yang selektif menghambat siklooksigenase-2 (yaitu, COX-2 inhibitor) tidak muncul untuk mempengaruhi fungsi trombosit atau perdarahan waktu ditunjukkan pada dosis dan mungkin lebih baik jika risiko perdarahan adalah kekhawatiran.
