Tergantung dosis menurun di serum, hemoglobin dan hematokrit telah diamati pada pasien yang diobati dengan obat anti-inflamasi nonsteroid (Nsaid). Anemia telah dilaporkan kadang-kadang. Mekanisme yang mungkin melibatkan NSAID-induced retensi cairan atau gastrointestinal kehilangan darah, atau tidak lengkap dijelaskan berpengaruh pada eritropoiesis.
